Armed Forces Day celebrations in South Glos

South Gloucestershire Council will be showing its support for Britain’s servicemen and women by hosting a special event in Staple Hill to mark Armed Forces Day on Saturday 25th June. The event will include a parade of veterans, military vehicles and marching bands starting at 11:30am. There will also be events in Page Park from 10:30am to 4pm with activities

Appeal for information following robbery (Staple Hill)

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was robbed in Staple Hill. At around 4.50pm on Wednesday (January 13) the 15 year old was walking through Page Park when he was repeatedly punched by three black men and robbed. His MP3 player was taken and he received bruising to the face. Police would now like to speak to
