South Gloucestershire Council have been successful in bidding for funding from Natural England’s ‘Access to Nature’ grant from the Big Lottery. The resulting project, Wildways, has now officially started and seeks to engage people across the Kingswood area in wildlife activities. Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a suspicious fire in a building in South Gloucestershire. The incident happened at about 4.45pm on Wednesday August 5 in New Cheltenham Road at the former Fiveways offices and day centre in the Kingswood area.
