Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Siston Hill, South Gloucestershire, that left the home-owner seriously ill with stab wounds. The 49-year-old man is in a stable condition in Frenchay Hospital. He was stabbed with a kitchen knife in the abdomen and suffered cuts to his head and face.
