Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault in Chipping Sodbury on Sunday (February 28).
At around 2.45am an altercation broke out in the High Street near to the George Pub.
A 43 year old man received a number of blows to the head as a result.
Police would now appeal for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward and help with enquiries.
