Police in South Gloucestershire are appealing for help tracing two men who threatened a cyclist with a knife and stole his bike.

It happened as he was riding along an underpass by Kwik Fit on Gloucester Road, Patchway at around 1pm on Thursday, February 4.

The offenders are both white. One was around 5ft 8ins tall, in his early 20s, with brown hair and a spotty complexion. He was wearing a dark-coloured padded jacket and blue jeans.

The second man was also around 5ft 8ins tall, aged about 25, of average build with short mousey hair. He had a large forehead and was wearing a white hooded lightweight jacket, dark blue trousers and black trainers. He spoke with a local accent.

One of the suspects was riding a grey framed bike, with blue writing on it, white handlebars and silver forks.
